St. George’s Soup Kitchen:
Every Saturday, between 4 and 5 pm, St. George’s round church opens its doors to feed those in need of a meal. Local churches take turns helping in this outreach — and St. Margaret’s volunteers. In addition to the help organized by local churches, St. George’s always welcomes help from individuals. Information on how to get involved can be found here: http://roundchurch.ca/soup-kitchen/
Caring and Sharing Angel Tree Food Bank:
Members of St. Margaret’s Church participate in the ongoing collection of non-perishables to donate to our local food bank. High-priority items are listed in the bulletin each week. Foodbank items can be brought to the church on Sundays, and left in the baskets at the back of the church. These items are then delivered to the Angel Tree. In addition to the collection organized by St. Margaret’s, our local food bank always welcomes various kinds of help from various individuals.
